Privacy notice

How we collect, use, and protect information shared with us.

Privacy notice

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Codaply ("Codaply," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of people who visit our website and contact us about our services. This notice explains our practices for information collected through this website, including discovery inquiries. It does not replace a separate agreement or privacy notice governing a client engagement.

Information you provide

When you submit a discovery inquiry or contact us by email, we may receive your name, email address, organization details, and the information you choose to include in your message. Please do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, health records, or other sensitive or confidential information through the inquiry form.

Information collected through website operations

Our hosting and technical service providers may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website, such as IP address, browser information, request details, and timestamps. If analytics, cookies, or additional tracking technologies are used, this notice and any legally required choice mechanisms must be updated to reflect them before deployment.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to requests, arrange conversations, evaluate potential services, maintain business communications, protect the website, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use submitted inquiries as permission to publish your information or share it publicly.

Service providers and disclosures

The website's planned discovery workflow sends inquiry details to Codaply by email and stores them in a Google Sheet. Google and relevant email, hosting, and technology providers may process information on our behalf to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transaction, subject to applicable obligations. We do not sell personal information submitted through the discovery form.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, business records, dispute resolution, or legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping requirements. Where local law provides additional privacy rights, we will address qualifying requests as required. You can also choose not to submit an inquiry form and contact us directly by email.

Third-party websites and international processing

Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' own notices. Website providers may process data in jurisdictions outside your location; applicable contractual and legal safeguards should be confirmed for production hosting and integrations.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for organizations and professional audiences, not children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the discovery form.

Updates to this notice

We may revise this notice when our website, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
